The Entrepreneurial Lab

There are 3 kinds of people in business: 1) an employee, 2) a freelancer, 3) an entrepreneur.

Freelancing is offering yourself as a consultant, be it in person, in a course (live or virtual), in a book – if you took yourself out of the picture there would be no business. Freelancing is vitally linked to the person delivering value.

Entrepreneurs build businesses that can eventually run without the entrepreneur – the business is not vitally linked to the founder. Microsoft still runs without Bill Gates having to work in the business.

I am a consultant (freelancer) to both freelancers and entrepreneurs but this section Dahlitz Media Lab is about experimenting with the entrepreneurial side of business by looking at a few businesses in development, from bootstrapping to thriving.
